This workshop proposed different topics surrounding the collective imagination of “Detrás del Futuro” and its project “Luminoides”. In each session a specific theme was addressed, with theoretical and artistic references to arrive at a creative practice.
Among these topics are “Technologies” associated with machines, cyborgs and robots; “Astronomy and the Cosmos” with a perspective of the macroscopic dimensions of matter, time and space; and “Ecosystems“, observing species, organisms and habitats that bring together natural and artificial elements.
The laboratory seeks to articulate these themes in practice using various media such as movement/corporeality, installation, visual arts materials, lighting, costumes and sound.
In this laboratory, Rodrigo and Josefina shared their references and studies to awaken a common collective imagination, stimulating the creativity of the participants. During the five sessions, exercises of movement, voice, writing, light and micro-staging were carried out. Through these methodologies, a work of both investigation and practice was carried out, reaching reflexive and performative spaces.
