LUMINOIDES articulates hybrid landscapes, ecosystems and links between natural and artificial elements. A network of beings, organisms and technologies constitute this universe that opens perspectives around our present.
The center of interest of LUMINOIDES is the phenomenon of light, composed of a series of interdisciplinary installations employing different media: movement, lighting, and live sound and video.
The project’s research and creation process took place in various residencies at NAVE in Santiago, Chile (2017-2018) and Teatro Municipal de Oporto, Portugal (2019), and the piece was first presented within the context of the OtroSur Festival at NAVE in August 2019.
